Introducing the Skarrd

Expelled from their former Forsaken brethren the ancestor of the Skarrd were left to die, fleeing their homes towards the deadly northern desert known as the Great Expanse. Who knows what happened to the starving ragged fugitives out there in the wastelands? But years later, they returned as the Skarrd, as unpredictable inhuman raiders intent on destroying those who did them wrong. The fire of vengeance burns in their souls and it is fuelled by the memories of the sins committed against them in the name of the Lord.

Their return changed the nights at the northern border of the Forsaken realms forever, and many barricaded houses and guarded villages have been found deserted and empty the next day. The Skarrd show mercy for no one, be it man, woman or child. Rumours of strange mutations and cannibalism are exchanged at the camp fires of the salt traders, and even the most inapt soldier can see that the pattern of these night raids is hinting at an oppression of fairly large scale which slowly points southwards, to the Forsaken capital of New Ashkeleon city.
